Choosing the right supervisor for Practicum course or LPC internship is critical to your professional development. An intern at Mylestone Counseling has many opportunities for observation, learning and consultation. My goal is to help you become an ethical, competent and outstanding therapist. Your personal and professional developments are the main goals of supervision. During supervision, we will focus on developing your clinical techniques, but more importantly, we will work together to develop and discover yourself as a counselor. My years of experience in college administration and working as a counselor in various college settings, has prepared me to be particularly effective when supervising interns that are interested in working in a college counseling environment.

 I am approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to provide supervision to LPC-Interns who are working towards the required practicum hours. Supervision will be based on the guidelines established by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.

Meetings

Supervision will occur at my office, or another agreed upon mutually acceptable location. Our one-on-one face-to-face supervision will last one hour, and occur once a week.
